It was a year ago today you went home to be with the Lord and His angels. While we know heaven is even better with you in it, your loving wife, children, and grandchildren miss you here everyday. You left a wonderful legacy of strength, sacrifice, and love, and it will live on in all of us forever. We love you Dad.
The past year has been difficult without you, Papi. I miss you more than anything.

I cannot imagine your pain and how you must miss your Papi. I love my folks and talk to them daily. It's hard to imagine life without them.

Erica,
I had no idea you had lost your Papi. I'm so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute you wrote for him and you are so right, his legacy lives on in you and everyone that his life touched. You are such an inspiration and a wonderful role model and that surely honors him. Though the day to day is difficult many times without him within your reach physically never forget that he is with you always and when you talk to him, he hears you. Hang in there.
